Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RunMyStore AI ("the Service"), operated by TikiTaka3D ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
RunMyStore AI is a Shopify app that connects your store to Claude AI (by Anthropic) via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service allows you to manage your Shopify store through natural language conversations with Claude. You are interacting with an AI system — responses are generated by Claude AI, not a human.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the Shopify store you connect. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal right to authorize access to your store data.
3. Account and Access
- The Service authenticates via Shopify OAuth 2.1. You do not create a separate account — your Shopify store is your identity.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and Claude.ai account.
- You must not share your bearer tokens or allow unauthorized access to your MCP connection.
4. Free and Premium Tiers
4.1 Free Tier
All Shopify MCP tools are available for free with no payment required. The Free Tier includes read and write access to your Shopify store through Claude.
4.2 Premium Tiers
Premium features (cross-platform integrations, automation, analytics) are available via paid subscription:
- Starter ($19.99/month): Analytics and email marketing integrations
- Pro ($49.99/month): Multi-channel growth (SEO, social, customer intelligence)
- Ultra ($99.99/month): Content automation, scheduled workflows, custom API integrations
4.3 Subscription Terms
- Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle at the then-current price. You will be notified at least 7 days before each renewal with the amount to be charged and instructions for cancellation.
- Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies.
- Third-party API keys: Premium features may require you to provide your own API keys for third-party services (e.g., email platforms, SEO tools). You are responsible for those accounts and their costs.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
5.1 How to Cancel
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the same online interface where you subscribed, or by emailing support@runmystoreai.com.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to premium features until then.
- To uninstall the app entirely, remove it from your Shopify admin. All your data will be deleted within 30 days.
5.2 EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date your subscription begins. To exercise this right, contact us at support@runmystoreai.com within 14 days. We will process a full refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
By using the Service during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you request immediate performance and that, upon full performance of the Service, you may lose your right of withdrawal for the portion of the Service already provided.
5.3 Refund Policy
- Refunds are available within the 14-day withdrawal period (EU) or within 7 days of initial subscription (all other regions) if the Service does not function as described.
- Prorated refunds are not provided for partial months after the withdrawal/refund period.
- Free Tier users can uninstall at any time with no charge.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or Shopify infrastructure
- Use AI-generated outputs for decisions that discriminate based on protected characteristics
- Exceed reasonable usage limits or engage in activities designed to overload the Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
7. Intellectual Property
- Our IP: We retain all rights to the RunMyStore AI software, code, design, and documentation.
- Your data: You retain all ownership of your Shopify store data. We claim no ownership over your products, orders, customers, or content.
- License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service during your subscription term.
- AI outputs: Outputs generated by Claude AI using your store data are not claimed by us. Ownership of AI-generated content is subject to Anthropic's terms and applicable law.
8. Data Handling
Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- We do not store your customers' personal data — it is accessed from Shopify on demand.
- Your Shopify tokens are encrypted at rest.
- We do not use your data to train or improve AI models.
- All data is deleted within 30 days of uninstalling the app.
For merchants processing EU/UK personal data, our Data Processing Agreement governs our obligations as a data processor.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Shopify, Anthropic (Claude AI), and Stripe. We are not responsible for:
- Outages or changes to Shopify, Anthropic, or Stripe services
- Changes to third-party API pricing, terms, or availability
- Data handling by third-party services (refer to their respective privacy policies)
Affiliate relationships: We may earn referral commissions when you sign up for recommended third-party services. See our Privacy Policy Section 8 for details.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- AI-generated responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
AI Limitation: Claude AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete responses. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before taking action on your store. We recommend verifying critical actions (pricing changes, inventory updates, order modifications) before confirming them.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- For Free Tier users, our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
13. Termination
- By you: You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app from Shopify and canceling any premium subscription.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with notice where practicable. In cases of severe violation (security breach, illegal activity), termination may be immediate.
- Effect of termination: All your data will be deleted within 30 days of termination, per our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under mandatory applicable law, including EU consumer protection regulations.
16. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failures or delays resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet outages, or third-party service outages.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
